His connection with NOA goes back more than two decades. In 2004, Denis worked with NOA products at SONY Dax, followed by further successful projects at Vectracom and later in his role as Group CTO at Memnon, where NOA technology formed part of the toolset used for projects around the world.
Throughout these roles, Denis gained extensive hands-on experience in large-scale media migration and archive workflows, building particularly deep expertise in legacy formats, playback systems, ingest technology, and the realities of bringing decades-old media into modern digital environments with lowest TCO.
That knowledge is highly relevant to what we do at NOA. Understanding legacy technology in detail – its strengths, its limitations, and the challenges it presents in real-world projects – is essential to developing the right solutions and, ultimately, to the success of our customers’ preservation and migration projects.
After many years of working with technologies like ours from the user and project side, Denis is now joining the team behind the products themselves. His perspective from the field will be a valuable contribution not only to the continued development of our solutions, but also to the successful delivery of customer projects, where his hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge will make an immediate difference.
