Boosting Efficiency

General Public Path (GPP)

The General Public Path (GPP) is the storage path for inter-task file communication during the execution of a workflow. It resides on a centrally reachable physical storage, to which all (and only) workflow processors have read and write access.

Facilitating Integration and Cooperation

Multiple actLINE tools specialize in providing ways to utilize existing customer infrastructure (e.g. Vantage, Vidcheck), harnessing the power of software tools and scripts (e.g. PowerShell) or connecting to external metadata databases (e.g. DISCOGS).

Facilitating Storage Connections

To help customers avoid vendor lock-in, all NOA frameworks connect to 3rd party multi-tier storage systems (HSM) through a special connector called StorageConnector.

File Ingest and Processing

NOA's actLINE product family presents a workflow-based import system for audio and video files, along with associated metadata files. Imported media files are normalized into an internal mezzanine file format and undergo thorough signal analysis. All technical and descriptive metadata, whether imported or generated, is processed and seamlessly integrated into the workflow engines within jobDB and mediARC.
