NOA at AIBD Summit and Broadcast Asia 2019
On their trip to south-east Asia, our colleagues Abderrahmane Bessaih, NOA Sales Director for MENA and Asia (left), and Bruno Burte, NOA Director of Business Development (right), will attend this year’s AIBD Summit in Siem Reap, Cambodia, from June 12 to 14 – closely followed by the annual Broadcast Asia Exhibition in Singapore from June 18 to 20.
At the AIBD Summit, which is held under the theme of “Media Digitisation: Focusing on Developing Markets”, Burtre will contribute to the excellent panel of presenters and experts with two papers titled "Digital Solutions for Preservation and Building a Modern Archiving Systems" as well as "Case Studies and Experiences from Projects", which should prove to be valuable and exciting additions to the program.
Also come and pay us a visit at our booth at this year’s Broadcast Asia Exhibition in Singapore – Asia’s largest and arguably most observed media tech exhibition throughout the year. Our colleagues will be available for you at our booth (No. 4E3-01 on Level 4) to answer your questions on archiving of legacy audio and video content as well as on how to set up and maintain an efficient industrial digitization facility.
..and on top of that, feel free to join the special session hosted by the Asia Broadcsting Union on Tuesday June 18th on Level 3, Room 308, where Burtre will contribute to the panel with his paper on "Management and Digitization of Audio-Video Archives".
For the last 30 years production formats have ruled the archive formats, simply because the archive has been considered as a physical drop off location of content. Nowadays with obsolescence of VTRs, and different file formats available, the need to look forward into an eternity plus one day vision is crucial.
