NOA at IASA 2016 convention
Dear Friends and Partners of NOA,
Dear attendees of this years' IASA convention,
This years’ convention theme, “A World of Opportunity: Audiovisual Archives and the Digital Landscape”, is of course of special interest to NOA. In the last 16 years, over 3.3 million hours of audiovisual legacy material have been digitized successfully with NOA products in projects around the world.
Come and pay us a visit at our stand in the exhibition area. We are happy to present to you NOARecord Pico and FrameLector Pico, the first true stand-alone systems for transfer quality controlled ingest of audio and video carriers – starting from one channel and scalable to any project’s size.
Get your hands on NOARecord’s reversible digital de-emphasis filters for gramophone recordings and see how NOA’s BitProof™ ensures integrity of the entire signal chain from DSP to written file on your hard disk - eliminating the threat of “interstitial errors”.
On FrameLector we will demonstrate how to log and effectively utilize RF-traces and ISR events during video ingest and how to seamlessly transcode your digitized video carriers either to the well-known open source codec FFV1 - which is being implemented with increasing regularity not only at NOA clients - or to any other format useful for long-term archiving.
Join us on Tuesday at 11 a.m. for presentation of the paper “News from the Lab: Setting the Framework from Mechanical Refreshment to De-acidification” held by Nadja Wallaszkovits as well as on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. for insights on “Efficiency without Robotics in large Scale Digitisation projects” presented by Christophe Kummer, CEO of NOA.
We are looking forward to meeting and discussing with you!
